Jack Marsden-Mayer

Jack Marsden-Mayer
Jack Marsden-Mayer is a drift wood artist... he has made lots of animals out of drift wood, so our class and Mrs Miller decided that we would make our own drift wood art, we put words on them and it was cool how everyone managed to make words out of drift wood... we hot glued the words together and this is what it ended up like.

Animal Band Reader's Theater.

WALT perform to an audience.
Success Criteria:
  • Speak Clearly
  • Speak loudly
  • Speak with expression
  • Speak together as a group

When six-hundred people looked at me I was doing my nervous smile, but so I wasn't nervous I looked down and took no notice of the six-hundred people in front of me and carried on talking. It was pretty good fun doing the play because I was the narrator and all I had to do was read three lines of words and that was it. I enjoyed watching everyone take a risk and try to overcome their fear of stage fright. It was so exiting to see everyone's faces when they walked into the hall, people were smiling and people were grinning.  It was amazing.
I enjoyed the play... I also liked how my Nan and pop could make it to the play... one of my favorite parts was when I was the narrator.

Pets should be allowed in school
My opinion is pets should be allowed at school.

They should be allowed at school because if you have no friends people will come to you and then you will make new friends and so that's one of my reasons why pets should be allowed at school and it’s all because of your pet that you have new friends.💗
My second opinion is that if people have never seen an animal like a lizard you can bring it into your classroom to show your class.
If there was a robber breaking into a class then outside the class there would be a very well trained guard dog to scare away the robber. Pets can be fun for everyone…. and everyone has a pet that’s special to them.

I therefore believe that pets should be allowed in school.
